I chose the word Relief because I'm happy that I got through everything that 2011 threw at me. Whether it was taking a stand against judgemental people, losing loved ones, or even trying to mend rough scars, I got through it all with a few tears, smiles, and support from my amazing family.
At the age of 16, i'm still pretty young and still learning to grow up. Sure, there have been some ups and downs in my life, but I think of it as a test that God is throwing at me and I for that reason alone, i can't give up. Now that i've finally crossed that finish line, I feel as if i can achieve more and start the New Year over being a better a me.
I'm still getting use to some changes that i've been trying to make, but i'm proud that i've finally gotten myself this far. I can't wait to see what life throws at me this year, because I know I will be ready.
